“Noticed last night that my A/C was beginning to freeze up. Contacted Hobgood Mechanical this morning at 8 am and told them the scheduling conflict I had with someone being at home for service. “Called on a Monday afternoon to fix HVAC system, and they were able to come out quickly, ascertain the issue and replace the part quickly. Technician (Robert) was knowledgeable, pleasant, and professional. Office staff was also pleasant and responsive (no putting on hold, etc.). We'll gladly have Hobgood come out to inspect system before the summer heat arrives and have placed them on top of the list for vendors to call and recommend to others.

“There is no better HVAC company that I have worked with then Adam, Robert and his crew. I luckily and accidentally met him while he was servicing a neighbors a/c unit. I decided to call him when I had a/c issues this summer. Robert came out and gave me the straight story on the unit as well as discovering a potentially dangerous hole in my heat exchanger. Working with Jamey Adam's wife made the replacement of the unit very easy. Some of the fits and starts of new unit were handled effortlessly and without any issues. I would highly recommend them. I will use them for all of my a/c, heat jobs. These are folks you can depend on!! Great service. Nice honest people without the big company push. I know they will do well since they know how to take care of the customer and install/service their equipment.

“Now HERE'S a company you can trust! I'm always skeptical when having to contact any type of contractor or service company. I first got Adam's name and number from a friend of ours shortly after Adam opened his business. We've now been using Hobgood Mechanical for several years (since approx. 2009?). They've ALWAYS been prompt, efficient, personable and honest. Our old a/c/heating package unit finally needed to be replaced after several years of Hobgood Mechanical's "nurturing" it along for us. (Adam and Robert had both promptly "come to our rescue" when we had emergency calls after losing our a/c on two separate occasions. They were fair and honest with their pricing, and didn't "gauge us" because we needed immediate assistance!) Today we finally had to to have the unit replaced -- "Jeff" and another Hobgood employee (sorry - I should have gotten his name) were amazing. They came out in the rain to replace the unit -- never complained, and were exceedingly polite and pleasant. They finished the job, explained the new thermostat, cleaned up after themselves, and insisted that I contact the company if I ever have any concerns or questions. I'm sold. It's great to have a company like this that I can trust and depend on!

“I've called Hobgood twice in the past couple of years for HVAC service. Both times they responded quickly, correctly diagnosed the problem, explained the repair and cost, had the needed parts on the truck; and had the system working again in a short time. Did I mention both of these calls were weekend service and one was at night, and that their pricing is very reasonable? This is the way a service business should be run.
